The winningest continent is Asia, with 19 entries entries, including three other Bangkok hotels: the (12), the (14) and (26). Europe is the region with the second-most wins featuring 13 properties, including the stunning new entry (20) in Amalfi, Italy.

North America's top country, Mexico, features four hotels: (16), (18) , the (29) in Riviera Nayarit and (47) in Tulum.

The US has four entries on the list: (30) and (37), both in New York City, (34) north of Miami, Florida, and (35) in Los Angeles, California.

Other delightful new entries for this year include in Dubai (24), (28) in South Africa, (43) in Rajasthan, India, and in Hobart, Australia (49).
