The broad, timber-floored bar and restaurant, open-sided to get the most of the views and the bay breezes, is set up to linger over craft beers, cocktails and well-chosen wines from Australia, New Zealand and Europe.
The grounds – gently landscaped and dotted with outdoor seats and games – are equally inviting, while the kitchen is one of Airlie's best, offering fresh raw seafood, grass-fed Wagyu and mains such as swordfish with farro, pumpkin puree, shiitake mushrooms and citrus gel.
