About Amiee
I’m most at home in the Capitol Reef country of Southern Utah where I live perched on the edge of a mesa. My favorite places in the world are the wild and windy isles of Scotland, the mountain rifugios scattered around the Italian Dolomites, and the endless desert canyons in my own backyard. When I’m not writing about obscure places, extraordinary people, and interesting foods, I enjoy all-day mountain trail runs, the uphill part of backcountry skiing, and absurd amounts of coffee and pastries.
