About Baia
I am passionate about discovering less-known destinations, learning about various cultures/traditions, trying regional and local food and wine, photography, hiking, and leaving less harm to the environment during my travels.
The desire to travel around the world on my own time led me to quit my editorial job and embarked on a backpacking trip to Southeast Asia. The experience changed the perspective of my profession and now I devote time uncovering the colorful world and writing about my adventures for various publications and my own blog.
