I have always had a strong desire to journey for as long as I can remember. In my early twenties, I answered an ad that read: ‘Looking for brave souls to sail around the world’. After deciding that was me, I flew to New Zealand to crew on an old cargo ship. That was the beginning and I have not stopped since. I firmly believe traveling broadens the mind, expands the heart, and feeds the soul, which is why I do it. I am both a travel writer and photographer. My images and articles have appeared in over 60 publications, and I have visited 52 countries and 6 continents, thus far. Some of my favorites places are Antarctica, New Zealand, the South Pacific including Norfolk Island, the Azores, Portugal, England, Ireland, Costa Rica and the list goes on and on.
