About Christine
A native Texan now Buenos Aires transplant, Christine began regularly traveling internationally during the Around-the-World semester in her last year at Concordia University Irvine. After backpacking through 10 countries in four months with a focus on studying world lit, travel writing, world religions, and several languages, she decided to move abroad. She has since lived or traveled extensively in China, Argentina, Kenya, and Indonesia. Of the 35 countries she’s visited, half she’s traveled to solo. Her curiosity has led her to horseback ride on the Mongolian Steppe; swim with wild dolphins in Kaikoura, New Zealand; and train hula hooping with the Icelandic circus after meeting them at Menningarnótt.
