About Dave
I'm a Greek-American writer and photographer based in Thailand and have spent 5 decades exploring off-the-beaten-path locations. My book, Odysseus' Last Stand, detailing a 7-year bicycle trip around the world, received a Silver Medal from the Society of American Travel Writers for Travel Book of the Year. I've also written and photographed the guidebook 500 Hidden Secrets of Bangkok. When not on assignment in Thailand, I head off on long distance hiking trips, most recently completing the 2650 mile Pacific Crest Trail from Mexico to Canada.
