About Deesha
Deesha Dyer is an award-winning event strategist, on-the-ground community organizer, executive operations expert, and in-demand speaker who has dedicated her life to social impact, activism, and adventure. While busy serving in the Obama White House, Dyer co-founded beGirl.world Global Scholars, a Philadelphia based organization whose mission is to diversify study abroad and travel by uplifting, education and equipping Black teen girls to be global citizens. Currently based in Washington, DC, Dyer runs her own impact agency while globetrotting with her husband, Wes. Her debut book chronicling her trials with confidence and authenticity as she journeyed through the White House will be published in Spring 2024.
