I've been a travel publisher, editor and writer for over two decades as well as a hotel and restaurant reviewer and art and culture reporter. I am a highly visual and evocative writer with specialist knowledge of contemporary art, architecture, design, European and post-colonial history, and food and wine. While I love cities, and can capture them with depth and subtlety for a wide variety of audiences, I'm also utterly at home covering beaches and waterways, including surfing destinations, and Alpine and wilderness environments and national parks.
