An extroverted person who loves to interact with people, I chose to become a guide more than a decade ago to help tourists from various countries learn about my home country of Bhutan. I have also been a German language guide for more than five years.
As a tour guide, it’s my goal that tourists I guide not only enjoy and relax in this peaceful country but also feel the warmth and a sense of belongingness when they visit.
I have explored every nook and corner of my country, Bhutan. One of the best things about being a tour guide is that you get to travel and do a lot of hiking which I have always been passionate about.
I have also been fortunate enough to travel to a few countries such as Germany, France, the Netherlands and Switzerland, which was a great opportunity to learn about various cultures and to meet different people. Another great thing about travel is you get to interact with different people who give you different ideas and provide you with an opportunity to learn. I aspire to travel, learn and share my own experiences with others so there is no profession that would be able to support my passion other than being a tour guide.
