About Kara
I’m a freelance writer based in Manila who’s had over a decade of experience for traditional newspapers, travel and in-flight magazines and online news sites. I launched my personal blog Travel Up in 2011 to share travel stories from the Philippines from various trips, including destinations for motorcycle riders and cyclists. I’ve been to all 82 provinces of my home country and hope to travel beyond the shores more in the future.
