I'm a Portland-based freelance editor and journalist covering the intersection of travel, food and drink, and culture. I was born in NYC, grew up in Florida, and have been lucky enough to have lived in some of my favorite places on the planet, including Japan, South Africa, and Italy. My favorite way to travel is solo, slowly, and without a plan -- and sometimes with my cat, Mr. Bo. Luckily, he's always up for an adventure.
