Malia Yoshioka is a freelance food and travel writer from beautiful Maui, Hawaii. She’s slowly eating her way around the world: 43 countries and counting so far. She’s the girl who always packs an extra duffle bag into her carry-on to bring home cookbooks, snacks, wine and spices to carry the flavors of the world back into her home kitchen. When she’s not exploring local street food, farmers markets and vineyards, you’ll probably find her somewhere out along the Bosphorus in her current home base of Istanbul, Türkiye.
