About Robert
I grew up in a wood-heated house in the forests of Vermont, which more or less set the tone for my life. I have worked as a professional writer and multimedia producer for more than 20 years, specializing in travel, arts, dining and outdoor recreation. I served for two of those years as a staff writer and videographer for The Tico Times of Costa Rica. I currently live in Rhode Island, where I write a lot about cycling, visit the "sea-shah" as often as possible and always keep a ready backpack.
