I'm a freelance travel journalist writing on food, culture, and conservation for a variety of English-language publications. I'm originally from the U.S., but I've been living in Germany with my Swedish husband since late 2015, seizing the opportunity for adventure whenever possible. If I'm not on the road or at my desk, I'm probably in the kitchen.
