About Terry
Terry Ward has been a freelance travel writer since 2000, when she ditched her first (and only) office job to work as a cocktail waitress at a casino during the Sydney Olympics. Since then, she's been on the road more than at home, reporting on everything from snorkeling with orcas and sailing around Arctic Norway to the wonders in her backyard in Florida. She speaks Spanish, French, Dutch and some Arabic and never met a language she didn't wish she had time to learn.
