About Viktoria
I strongly believe that there is no cure for wanderlust. I’ve tried myriad times - and have failed consequently and quite contently. My camera is my constant companion, and we’ve bonded strongly over sunrises in Ethiopia, night skies in Mexico, hikes in Chile, and so much more. As much as I love travelling abroad, I’m equally addicted to exploring my home country, Austria, and discovering curious and weird stories and places along the way.
But I’m not always land-bound: my heart beats for the ocean and its sometimes mystical creatures. As a scuba diver and freediver, I often find myself in the remotest places to catch up with my beloved underwater friends and step up my underwater photography skills.
I’ve been running my very own travel and dive blog, Chronic Wanderlust, since 2013. I started my Austria podcast in 2020 and frequently write for print magazines about my adventures on land and in water.
