This quiet, wood-built education center on the grounds of the botanical gardens is popular with families and groups for its selection of rooms, large kitchen and on-site laundry. There's a bunk room that's around $45 per person per night in summer for groups of four. Rates include garden entry.

There's a copy of Charles Darwin's The Origin of Species in every room. True to its name, the Ecolodge uses solar panels, has an organic garden and recycles rainwater and waste.
