La Maison Henry-Stuart

Québec City

This handsomely preserved cottage built in 1850 by an upper-middle-class anglophone family contains period furnishings from the early 1900s. Hour-long guided tours on the hour help elucidate what life was like in those days; tea and lemon cake (included in the tour price) make it that much sweeter. A small but verdant garden surrounds the cottage.
