Meštrović Gallery

Split

At this stellar art museum you’ll see a comprehensive, well-arranged collection of works by Ivan MeÅ¡trović, Croatia’s premier modern sculptor, who built the grand mansion as a personal residence in the 1930s. Although MeÅ¡trović intended to retire here, he emigrated to the USA soon after WWII. Admission includes entry to the nearby °²¹Å¡³Ù¾±±ô²¹³¦, a fortress housing other MeÅ¡trović works.
