Luigi Sartini is San Marino's only Michelin-starred chef and has been championing local cuisine since 1990. His one-star affair, Ristorante Righi, sits above this far more casual osteria, where local dishes like passatelli (pasta made with breadcrumbs, eggs and grated Parmesan cheese) with broad beans and artichokes make for a wonderful lunch.
The outdoor Piazza della Libertà patio makes appropriate use of Città di San Marino's stupendous views.
