Basilica Fulvia Aemilia

Ancient Rome

A series of column stubs and littered masonry near the entrance to the Roman Forum on Largo della Salara Vecchia are all that remain of the Basilica Fulvia Aemilia. Dating to 179 BC, this was originally a 100m-long public hall with a two-storey porticoed facade.
