Casa di Livia

Ancient Rome

Home to the emperor Augustus' wife Livia, the Casa was built around an atrium leading onto what were once reception rooms, decorated with frescoes of mythological scenes, landscapes, fruits and flowers. You can admire these along with video projections highlighting aspects of the house's original design.

Note that even with the SUPER ticket, it's best to book an entry time as visits are by guided tour only.
