Named for the terrapins in the cafe window, this tea shop is a good place to refuel halfway down Rainbow St. As well as hot drinks and juices, the pitchers of iced tea are very refreshing, and Turtle Green does a good line in manakeesh (baked flatbread with toppings like cheese and minced meat), salads and sandwiches.
At busy times, the upstairs area can be rather smoky.
