This vine-covered and quirkily charming boutique hotel pays homage to Mexican women in history. Guests can choose from 10 sumptuous (if slightly tired) rooms named for heroines such as human rights lawyer Digna Ochoa or Zapatista commander Ramona. Antiques, a small tropical garden-patio, and interesting art create a pleasant oasis from Tapachula's frenzy. There's a small pool, too.
