Chinggis Khaan's Wall

Western Mongolia

This barely discernible hump running along the southwestern edge of Khar Us Nuur is thought to date back to the Kublai Khaan period, when it may have served as a water control structure or embankment. The wall is actually easier to see on Google Earth than it is here.
