Les Rochers Peints

Tafraoute

Staff here seem perpetually perplexed, but patience yields fruit at this ultra-chilled hotel on the edge of town. Rooms are small but clean, and bathrooms are new. Stained-glass windows throughout give things an ecclesiastical vibe, and there are some cool vintage posters. No English is spoken, or French for that matter (at least when we dropped by).

Breakfast is Dh30.
