With outdoor activities being favored at present due to the COVID-19 pandemic, lots of travelers are considering a trip to the slopes. Those who are planning to take a ski or winter sports vacation this year may be interested to learn that passengers with Alaska Airlines can ski free at one of its partner resorts in the US and Canada.
With "Fly Alaska, ski free," travelers just have to show their boarding pass at any of eight resorts to enjoy free skiing or ski deals during the 2020-2021 ski season. Those wishing to avail of the incentive should bear in mind that terms and conditions apply. Some resorts offer free skiing on the passenger's day of arrival, including Alyeska Resort, Bogus Basin, Eaglecrest Ski Area, and Schweitzer Mountain Resort.
Other resorts offer free skiing on the day of departure, including Red Lodge Mountain and Whitefish Mountain Resort. Ski Marmot Basin is offering passengers either a free full-day lift ticket or the option to purchase a three-consecutive day lift ticket for the price of a two-day ticket within 21 days of the passenger's travel date. Red Mountain Resort is offering a free adult lift ticket with the presentation of a boarding pass dated between December 12, 2020 and April 5, 2021.
It's also worth noting that some of the offers are not valid on certain blackout days, and travelers must fly from eligible airports served by Alaska Airlines to avail of them. Other resorts including Big White Ski Resort and Steamboat Ski & Resort are offering discounts, and further information can be found on the website
