Winter is creeping in and we're dreaming about cosy little cottages where we can curl up by a crackling fire with a good book, and our nearest and dearest by our side, i.e. our pets. Lucky for us there are quite a few places dotted around the country where we can do just that.
Short-term rental platform, , has released a lovely new collection of 16th-century chocolate box cottages that are also pet-friendly. Homey places where we can live out our dreams with our friends, family and fluffy companions in tow when the days get shorter, and the nights get longer. Each of the homes is located in England and guests should be aware of local public health guidelines before booking, and again, just before their arrival.
Hearstone East Cottage is located in the pastel-painted harbour town of Brixham in Devon, where guests can enjoy bracing seaside walks before settling in for the night in a cottage that lights up like a Christmas tree.
In the sleepy village of Manaccan in South Cornwall, not too far from world-famous gardens, walking trails and charming pubs, is Rose Cottage with its thatched roof, stained glass windows and inglenook fireplace.
This historic Cornish home that looks like a gingerbread house comes with original features that date all the way back to 1650 and is close to woodland, wildlife and the quaint market town of Leominster.
Located in Bretforton in Worcestershire, Acorn Cottage is full of cosy nooks and crannies that are ideal for curling up in and forgetting about *all of this*.
