Disney has teased the first images from inside Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, the highly-anticipated Star Wars-themed hotel set to land in Walt Disney World Resort, Florida next year.

This one-of-a-kind, or rather out-of-this-world experience, at Walt Disney World Resort has been compared to a cruise by CNN and NBC, though instead of sailing out to sea, guests will be transported into 'outer space'.

"Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is a completely new type of experience," said Ann Morrow Johnson, executive producer for Walt Disney Imagineering, in a Disney blog post. "You're going to live onboard a star cruiser... and you can get wrapped up in the larger Star Wars story."

Guests will check into the immersive Star Wars experience for two days and two nights. The hotel is a star liner – a Corellian MPO-1400 called the Halycon, with themed cabins, crew members dressed in character ,and plenty of onboard dining options. Fans can choose their own adventure once they board but all journeys will start in the same way with guests checking in to the main terminal before being shuttled into space via the Launch Pod.

As per the newly-released images (which reveal a mock-up of the interior starship cabin) guests will have a queen-sized bed to rest their heads on, and two bunkbeds which are built into the wall. It's not yet clear if all rooms will have the same interior layout but we imagine they'll look pretty similar.

The experience also provides guests with the chance to explore the Star Wars universe. They'll be invited on land excursions to Black Spire Outpost on the remote outpost of Batuu, as well as a trip to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Best of all, they'll get to spend a good chunk of their time role-playing with characters, crew, and fellow passengers.
