Elephant Safari Hotel

Uda Walawe National Park

This lodge has huge cottages, built from mudbrick and thatch, which are spacious and quite stylish, with open-air showers. However, the pool is often out of action and overall maintenance should be better for the rates asked. It's down a maze of bumpy rural lanes but is well-signed; the turn-off is a couple of kilometres west of the park gate.
