Atlantis

Top choice in New Providence

If Disneyland, Vegas and Sea World birthed a love child, this watery wonderland would be its pricey but irresistible spawn. The Lost World of Atlantis–themed megaresort has five separate hotels (The Beach is the budget offering, The Cove is the swishest), all within walking distance of one another. The mothership is the Royal Towers – 23-story conch-pink towers linked by an enormous central arch.

The Royal Towers (from BS$410) are the most heavily invested in the Atlantis portfolio – aquarium windows in the lobby, faux hieroglyphics everywhere, and a replica of King Triton’s throne – and the nexus of all resort activity. There's a massive casino, an indoor shopping mall gleaming with Versace and Cartier, and multiple celebrity-chef restaurants. Set at a tasteful distance, the Cove (from BS$570) is Atlantis’ most adult property – all koi ponds and minimalist chandeliers, and an adults-only pool area with wandering masseuses. The Reef (from BS$500) is a stylish condo-style hotel perfect for families. Beach Towers (from BS$275) and Coral Towers (from BS$290) are, relatively speaking, less flashy, more affordable options. Minimum two-night stay on all rooms.
