Le Rocher Bleu

Top choice in Tunisia

Aida Gmach Bellagha, whose family hailed from Takrouna, moved from Tunis to embark on an ambitious project to cultivate interest in local Berber heritage, resulting in this beautiful, cosy cafe and the Dar Gmach museum next door. Enjoy a Turkish coffee with orange blossom or 'cocktails' named after abandoned Berber villages in the area.

The cafe's name is a nod to work by Tunisian author Tahar Guiga, a native of Takrouna.
