Local artists create stylish products for Pure Detroit that celebrate the city's culture. Pick up handbags made from recycled seatbelts, groovy T-shirts and local Pewabic pottery. It's located in the landmark, mosaic-strewn Guardian Building (worth a visit in its own right; ask shop staff about the free tours of this and other historic buildings).
There are four other Pure Detroit shops around town, including one inside the Fisher Building and one inside the Renaissance Center.
