A spin-off of popular Monkeypod Kitchen in Wailea, this latest branch of chef Peter Merriman's open-air restaurant is doing just fine in its infancy. A sun-kissed collection of stylish couples and ever-cute families crush in early for the wood-fired pizzas, succulent burgers and fresh seafood dishes. Nice accompaniments include a long list of microbrews and craft cocktails, plus daily live music.
Pizzas are $10 and most appetizers are half price during happy hour (3pm to 5:30pm and 9pm to 11pm). The kids' menu features four choices – including a cheeseburger – all under $11.
