Site of the 1969 Stonewall riots and birthplace of the gay-rights movement, Stonewall is a National Historic Monument and a de facto place of pilgrimage. Despite its international fame, it's a friendly, unpretentious spot that welcomes everyone under the LGBTIQ+ rainbow (and their allies) to nightly events such as 'I Love the '90s' karaoke and drag bingo.
