San Diego

The historic heart of San Diego’s Chinese community is 3rd Ave. Immigrants were once taught English and religion in the Chinese Mission Building, built in the 1920s. Displays include Chinese-American artifacts and local art objects, and the small, white stucco structure boasts decorative red tiles, hardwood floors, and an inviting backyard.
