It's worth sleeping in Knoxville just to wake to the rich, Mexicanized farm-to-table Southern fare at this morning stop in Old City. You'll find gussied-up standards (country ham, pickle-brined fried chicken), a sinfully good grilled cheese with buttermilk cheddar, a sunny egg and collard greens and, finally, fabulous carnitas (pork confit) tostadas.
